The (de)construction crew must have been here at 8:45 and waited until 9am on the nose to start sawing through brick!!!! So much for my beauty sleep!
It was a chilly morning (for a native Houstonian) and I was snuggling with my baby girl (okay, she's 9; but she wasn't feeling well); & that's when it started. Ugh!
Sunday: Okay, although there was no banging or sawing Sunday morning, it was drudging through mud in church clothes - such a mess.

I must say that when I compare the before and after pictures...the "before" looks pretty good, afterall. LOL
Nah, I know that it will be beautiful when you all are done. I am so looking forward to a big housewarming bash when all is complete.
