Okay, if you're under the age of 100 and over 18 months, then surely you've heard of Hannah Montana! Living in Houston, we've grown up with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. It is a HUGE event that lasts about 2 - 3 weeks. We have some of the top performers and is definitely a highlight in Texas.
Anyways..... I knew Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) would be performing and tickets would sell out quickly! Needless to say, they never even went on sale. The only way to purchase them was to by all 20ish shows of all different performers. After I convinced my hubby it was a good idea as we could give tickets to customers & employees, I had sticker shock - $6K!!! basically so we could see H.M.!!!!
We bought the tickets about 2 months ago & just surprised our girls last week! They couldn't believe it! The show was supposed to be this past Sunday. On Friday, Jas brought them home along with the Houston Chronicle. The newspaper did a report on the needs of children at MD Anderson & the Ronald McDonald House. Some of the kiddos in the hospital 'WISHED' they could go to the show. Our girls decided they would forego the concert in order to allow some other kids, who had a 'heavy load', to enjoy Hannah.
We dropped off the tickets on Saturday morning! It will probably be the one concert they actually remember - the one they gave away :)
God, thank you for the opportunity to help others & thank you for my girls that helped this happen! YOU are awesome!

they will never forget making that choice.
